Gas Fire Repair in Cork

Cork Gas will send their RGI Certified Engineer to complete the repair in compliance with Irish Standard I.S.813 and current Health & Safety regulations.

This repair cost is exclusive to Cork City customers with 20k radius of Cork City. We can repair outside these parameter, and we will only charge a reasonable extra fee to cover travel costs.

Costing Information

The total cost of your repair may vary depending on the nature of the work required for each individual booking.

• The first hour of labour is charged at €160, which is payable at the time of booking.

• Any additional labour is charged at €25 per 15 minutes. The engineer will always explain any additional time required and discuss the final cost with you in advance.

• If replacement parts are needed, we will clearly explain the issue, provide the cost, and obtain your approval before ordering or fitting any parts.

• Have you checked & replaced the batteries in the actual fire and the hand piece remote control?
• If your fire wont start, check if the Pilot Light is off, if so, follow the manufactures instructions to relight it.
• Check if the main gas valve to the fireplace is fully open
