BEER-BRAISED CABBAGE WITH BACON
Braising anything in beer makes it better.
Add bacon into the mix and you’ve got a winning cabbage dish.

125 g bulk unsliced bacon, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
225 ml yellow onion, diced small
225 ml apple, cored and diced small
1  (2 lb) green cabbage, quartered, cored, thinly sliced
To Taste Sea salt
To Taste Freshly ground black pepper
350 ml Beer, light
